Untitled Sorrow

She looks up into the mirror
To face the rear of herself
She cries tears of blood
And whispers "I hate myself..."

she can't deny her past
Nor can she forget
The reasons that she cries
While she tries to deny it

She was beaten, abused, and scarred
Torn between her death
She had decided not to live
She would settle for nothing less

She has scars
To prove her pain
To show you about
Her live of shame

One night she decided
That she had to die
So she set the date
And sat down to cry

She wrote some notes
To a few people she chose
She has a crazy idea
She didn't think she'd loose

So she swallowed a bottle
Of prescription pain pills
Soon she felt dizzy
And began to feel ill...

She passed out right there
In the middle of the floor
She was almost dead
When her mom came through the door

She woke up in the hospital
With Iv's all around
She was tired and dizzy
And everything seemed loud

Her mom was asleep in a chair
Her friends on the ground
She was too ashamed to wake them
She didn't make a sound

She looked around her room
She got up and looked in the mirror
Her eyes had big bags
And were full of depression and fear

She looks down again
She begins to cry
She somehow can't believe
She wanted to die

She looks up into the mirror again
To face the fear of herself
She cries tears of blood
And whispers "I hate myself..."
