Falling

by Sherry Lynn   Feb 17, 2005

Falling

I’m fallen faster
Then a crashing jet
Emotions spiraling
Leaving me with nothing left

Not even a branch to reach for
No way to stop
Holding your hand
Trying to hang on

Each day I fall deeper
Than ever before
Love has no safety net
No barriers or doors

You have a new residence now
Deep within my chest
In this heart of mine
You will always have rest

I’m falling in love
Though I tried to resist
I am glad this one battle
That I did not win

:) Beautiful job. I'm sure the one you have fallen for, is very lucky to have such a wonderful person like you in their lives. Great Job on the poem, and thanks soooo much for the comments on my poems. Means so much to me.
