Ode to Joy the Purple Car

by Heather Simmons   Jul 21, 2003

Ode to Joy the purple car,
As it tavels near and far.
Sometimes purple sometimes blue,
Depending on how the sun shines through.

Oh my joy as I drive,
The purple car is still alive.
So if you want to travel far,
Hitch a ride on the purple car.

(part 2)
Ode to joy the purple car,
It has traveled very far.
Now its time for it to rest,
This car was the very best.

Do not cry for it is not sad,
This car is old, but was not bad.
Now its time to welcome the new,
If we're lucky it won't be blue.
