The Girl

She sits in her room,
Shaking,
Pissed off at the world,
Trying to fight back
Her tears.
Wanting to be understood,
Never knowing
Whats happening next,
Needing to get away,
Away from her pain.
She blares her music,
To drown out her life,
She sinks into it all,
The screams,
The occasional soft point,
Kinda like life,
Then the bumping noise starts,
She yells out,
But no one listens,
She just sits there,
Her matted down hair,
Makeup smudged,
Clothes don't even match,
She's different,
but people think she's a freak,
Sent there,
To mess up their lives.
She wants to just fit in,
To not be invisible.
The screams start again,
For no one to listen,
No one to help!
Wondering what she did wrong,
She sits and writes,
"I'm sorry,
There's nothing I can do,
I hate being me,
But I love you all so dear!
Please, forgive me!"
Her tears fall like the rain,
All so gently down her face,
The paper falls,
So softly,
As she rises
To complete the day
That has only begun!
