Only a Child Could See

by elizabeth   Feb 18, 2005

He pointed to the ceiling,
His eyes followed.
Your name was the one that he said.
He smiled and said it again.

We all looked up,
To see what he had seen.
He said your name again,
But only he could see you overhead.

His eyes seemed to follow,
What he had seen above his little head,
But no one could tell,
Only a child could see you watching over

But in our hearts,
And in our minds,
You were there,
you were watching over all of us.

***RIP Poppop. We all love you very much***
