No matter what I do
Not matter how hard I try
There will always be a part of you
Stuck in the back of my mind

I try to think of other things
But still your name remains
It flows throughout my head
Like the blood flows through my veins

I never thought it would be this hard
To let go of the past
You made it feel like it was real
And that you and I would last

Why did I believe you
Your such a magnificent liar
The words flowed sweetly off your tongue
And your eyes burned like fire

Do you even remember that night
When we looked up at the stars?
We came back inside and you played
The song you wrote me With your guitar

I never would have guessed
That this would end so quick
I need a guy who thinks with his head
Not another who thinks with his d i c k

Now that its over
Im left here with these scars
This here is my story
Of just another broken heart
