Crying in the darkness (Divorce)

by tabithaa   Feb 20, 2005

Crying in the darkness,
Her endless suffering,
A teardrop falls from her face,
From the pain the fighting brings.

Her parents went from lovable,
to blaming her for everything,
They fought over this and fought over that,
Making painful comments, that sting.

It got so bad between them
Her mom and dad,
they threatened to get a divorce,
It made her very sad.

She didn't want two houses,
Or friends in different places,
She didn't want either of them to go,
But the answer was plain on their faces.

A week and a half later,
Her dad packed his stuff and he moved away,
they lived in Arizona,
And he moved to Tennessee to stay,

About a year later,
My mom proposed a question to me,
If i wanted to stay with her,
I didn't have to,
I could go to Tennessee.

I didn't know what to do,
I loved them both the same,
I hate this stupid: Choose this, choose that,
I'm tired of this game.

How about I stay with one of you,
And visit the other whenever,
I just hope it doesn't stay this way,
Cause I can't live this way forever.

My parents are split up and it is very hard you have rules there and here and they are both different and it really sucks that the are not together and if they were i bet it would be alot easyier and alot more fun
