Melancholy and the king

by Unrequited   Feb 21, 2005

To bury the mountains
and kill the king
pain from the past
constantly stings
creatures in the pit below
fill me with anger
don't get too close
there's nothing but danger
we cry, then die
then cry some more
you're no longer here,
not as before
where did you go,
i want to know
when you're not here
my sadness grows
the melancholy overcomes
just tear my heart away
please come back, i need you here
or my life ends today

oh, to feel love-
i'm still lost and forgotten
