You got to me

I was raised never to let any one get to me
"Don't let any guy get to you." "He isn't worth it." or "Guys suck." is all my dad ever said.
But you got to me the first time I saw you. The first time you spoke to me. The first time you grabbed my hand. The first time we kissed. I remember it all like it was yesterday. Like it just came to pass. I hope with all my heart that it would never end.
Well it's over now but I wouldn't mind being hurt once more if it meant I'd be loved by you one last time.
