Colors

by Sarrah   Jun 7, 2005

As I walk down the street I see many things new to me.
I see the people black as night,
running from the people white.
I see the people pale as ghost snickering behind the posts.
I see the dark ones having fun
as the light ones take a run.
They all seem to say go away
but no one wants to leave.

We all have to eyes that like to shine bight.
We all have two ears that want to hear right.

We are all the same, you see,
so why don't we belong with thee. Why cant we live a life of free.
Why do we look at colors:
white black and brown.
It looks all the same to me

People are people, no matter what color they are
So close your eyes and listen now
hear the wind blow the wows your way
Open up and look around at the colors surrounding you
