I Wish

I knew that I’d never love anyone else
As much as I’d ever love you
It’s been a long time and through much hell
But so far my predictions been true

I wish I could take it all back
all the torture and pain we’ve been through
But this answer to my prayers I lack
my hopes will never come true

If ever I had one wish to use
I’d want to go back in time
Reverse my dumb choice and choose
to love only you as mine

Through whatever misery we go through
