Dancer in the rain

by katie!   Feb 23, 2005

I see her in the falling rain
Trying to forget her pain
Dancing faster then her fears
Raindrops cover up her tears

Silently she takes the night
Dancing until she takes flight
Like an angel from the ground
Flying swiftly not a sound

A dance so lovely in the sky
She no longer wants to die
She is free now, as a bird
Seperated from the world

As she floats back down to land
She begins to understand
She still has her crimson tears
She still has her awful fears

She stops dancing and takes flight
Like a demon dark as night
Running back home to her pain
Waiting for the rain again
