R.I.P Grandpa - Our Last Words

It was May 10th of 1928, a day like no other
Because, the most gorgeous angel was born, as a son and a brother
God didn't even want to put u on earth, but he knew u were made for us
U guided us every second of each minute throughout our lives with love, care and trust,
as the best husband to your wife
the kindest father to your 4 sons
and the greatest grandfather to us
u were the biggest flower in our life…a rose to be exact
blooming everyday and brightening our day
now that you are gone, our world has turned all grey
so grandpa..what are we gonna do without u??
seems like a century of light is gone..leading us into a new world, which we never knew
helping others before yourself was your way
never did we know we would be facing the fact of this funeral day
shaving everyday..white shirt and black pants was your kind
after a full blessing of 7 years in Canada, the doctors insisted a surgery on your spine
the day of your operation…the day we can never forget
the doctors estimated 4 hours for your surgery, but took them 7 instead
u promised us that you’d be back home walking in 5 days, but you never returned
only the news that you had a stroke during your surgery and is unable to walk again,
which brought the whole world of tears into our eyes
you lost hope…you were fooled with lies after lies
in a hospital u laid for 6 and a half years, not knowing what’s happening around you
come see you everyday, comfort u with words and feed u with love, was all we can do
it was not until 3 weeks ago when the doctor said everything inside of you has failed except your heart
from that moment, we understood that god wants u in his hands, separating u and us apart
“two days maximum” was what the doctor said
but you survived for 17 instead
On February 16, 2005, you left us without even saying a goodbye
Shattered like a glass, all we could do was cry and cry
6 and a half years of severe pain…17 days without any food or drink…
grandpa what did u ever do???
Why does this have to happen to a lovely person like you???
You are the most pleasant person anyone can ever find
Putting others ahead of u, helping them and making them succeed was always in ur mind
Brother to 8
Father to 4
Grandfather to 7
but most of all, you have lived as an honourable man to this world
U are in god’s hands now, somewhere better, somewhere more safe
We hope your soul always rests in peace…
So grandpa, we all love you and you will always remain in our hearts for now and forever!!!
