A Battle to Glory

by Kevin   Feb 25, 2005

As you crossed the room
Flames licked your heels
It felt like it was doom
And that you'd eaten your last meal

The black shadows that fell on you
Were cast by silent silhouettes
They couldn't give a clue
As to the clash that would be met

You ran towards your death
Fighting every step of the way
Desperately you ran out of breath
With many revenges to repay

The vicious beast rose from victory
Suddenly you raised your battered blade
To finally lead him into trickery
As you raise your eyes to the triumph you made
