The Crow

by Ben   Feb 25, 2005

Amongst the burnt forest it looks
From within the black murder lie its blue eyes
And hiding behind its blue eyes – its black mind
Above the pale blue sky
This silky black shadow will fly

Its black silhouette against the pale blue sky
Its black silky cloak soaring above the once green forestry
But the once green forestry has now succumbed to the brown and black nirvana
Its scorched home is a mirror of its burnt heart

The piercing gaze of the black animal watches this torn world
Seeing more than just the shell of our lives
Looks through our soul, through our minds
Piercing out thoughts like an army of knives
