My Shining Star

My shining star is starting to drift far from near
If I lost it my path would no longer know where to steer
My bridge over troubled waters would surely crumble away
I wish my falling tears were enough to make you stay
When you leave my smile will be forever faded
My eyes will cast a shadow everytime a look is traded
My life will always be a darker shade of gray
With no other point in life except to stray away
My light in pitch black
I have a feeling, will never be back
