My One Single Prayer.

by Aubrey   Feb 25, 2005

When I close my eyes,
You are there.
In the mists of night,
My one single prayer.

A glimpse of death,
The shock of my life.
The blood on my wrists,
From the cut of a knife.

Stained red carpet,
Knife covered with skin.
Whiping the blood,
That seems to drip within

Bloody old rags,
Sit in the sink.
I lay on the floor,
Dont know what to think.

Wrists wrapped tight,
Standing against the wall.
Trying to stay up,
Trying not to fall.

Head feeling heavy,
Knees hit the floor.
Im dying now,
My body cant take no more.

Now my eyes are closed,
And I see you there.
In the mists of night,
Your my one single prayer
