This place that is supposed to be called home,
crying in the corner all alone
Drunken abuse,
On a one way street
Hardly capably of standing on my own to feet
Verbal assaults run through my mind,
This place that is supposed to be called home is hard to find
Looking down at the bruises on my knees,
In such a dark room
barley able to see
Nights so cold,
All in the eyes,
Your loves not behold
There all lies
Running away would be such a beautiful thing,
No more yelling and fighting
No more screams
It's all a fairy tale gone wrong,
Except in reality
With no other possibility
so as i wipe the last tear from my face,
A blow to the head
Anywhere is better than this place
