My heart of shard and splinter

by Sinister Soire   Feb 27, 2005

I’m waiting for winter
To build a castle of ice
Locked inside a crystal
And my heart of shard and splinter

Encased in a shell of snow
Frozen solid around it
My heart is held together
But for how long I don’t know

All it takes is a crack
And my world will crumble
The pieces of my heart lost
Where I will never get them back

Now is too late already for it
The thawing has begun
Love invaded in my castle
There is a bottom for my pit

I need my frozen winter
To sustain this world
Locked inside my castle
Is my heart of shard and splinter
