In my head

by Sinister Soire   Feb 27, 2005

I don’t know if it is just in my head
But I feel locked outside in the cold
Left here to chill and burn
Thrown away to rot and mold

Cast away into the darkness
Where future runs amuck
Everything appears unknown
Obliterated by a train or truck

Everything has derailed
Steered way off of its track
None of this is truly known
But to your lover behind my back

You are the one who banished me
To this cold and dismal place
Living here in quiet solitude
Where your love I cannot replace

I love you for eternity
Though in this land I stay
Living loving all that time
Just living for the day

The time that you will take me
And return me to the bliss
The land where all is innocent
And happiness is your kiss

But once again I tell you
That this is in my head
Nothing in that dreary place
Is anything but dead
