Memories

My friend is long gone,
hes not coming back,
for some odd reason he had to leave,
why is god making us grieve?
been gone almost a year,
this was his favorite time of year,
i miss him more and more,
this time of year is going to be really hard,
yeah he wasn't the best at everything but he was the best him there can ever be,
thank you Brandan for all the memories you made,
my life's not as bright since you left,
you could make me laugh with everything that you'd do,
the memories of you will be cherished forever!
