Our Big loss

It happend May 11, 2003
that was the day you left me
such sorrow and heartbreak
too hard to explain
nothing can compare to that kind of pain
the gates to heaven opened and thats where you remain
we grieved and cried
the loss to great to bare
somehow life didn't seem so fair
a man of wisdom
ahead of his time
oh how we wish we could put life on rewind
you taught is imprtant things these
things we will never forget
at the time we didn't see the meaning
this we will always regret
we miss you so much
it's hard to explain
such deep seeded heartbreak
and agonizing pain
nothing was ever to be the same
our big loss
was our father's and heavens big gain
sometimes we feel like giving up
but we know for now we must remain
we picture you in heaven
with a smile on your face
telling us we must stay just a little while someday we will meet again
until then we hope oour broken hearts will mend
now it's time to say goodbye
to our loved one
Our son, Our brother, Our Uncle
and most of all our greatest friend
