A Fake.

All my life I have pretended
like nothing was ever wrong
But it has all been a big lie
It was a lie all along

I pretended I was happy,
when I was really sad
And like I was anxious
when I was really mad

You believing me
makes me want to laugh
I'm trying to make a future
But I can't stop thinking about my past.

Laying in this room
sitting all alone
Hiding feelings inside
That you haven't ever known

Thinking I was OK
Like nothing was the matter
Never seeing cries
That I have started to shatter

Well let me tell you something
"I am not OK"
I'm not lying this time,
No it's not for play!

I can't wait to be dead
Until my soul has been set free
I can't wait for it to happen,
For it to happen to me
