Wanting to cut

Every night lying awake
not being able to sleep
just wanting the razor
in the box next to me
wanting to reach for it
but then remembering my promises
wanting the pain inside to leave
just wanting to cut
cut away all the wrong in me
cut away all the pain locked inside
cut a hole for it to escape,
then maybe ill escape with it
