A Wave Of Thoughts

A wave of thoughts
crash over me.
As endless as
the open sea.
The pictures of
my broken past.
Burst from my mind
unexpectedly fast.
A wonder of puzzles
and riddles I find.
A million small questions
to which I am blind.
A tidal wave
consumes my soul.
The numerous pounding
has taken it's tole.
Then as fast as it
came, it left once more,
and opened my mind
unto a new door.
That was the day
I really could see.
When a wave of thoughts
crashed over me.

    Over all, it seems like youve really thought out that poem before you wrote it, so i enjoyed reading it and the wording was good too. But i thought the flow was a bit awkward in this part :
    the tidal wave
    consumes my soul
    because the flow isnt the same as the other parts. Over all, very good poem, and ill still give it 5/5 because i really liked it.
