Lonely Girl

She's that girl
always drowning in her pain
her hearts been broken so many times
she can't even feel the rain

She's holding on by a thread now
She doesn't want to be
that lonely lost girl that's been hurt so many times
left with every broken memory

She's cried herself to sleep
more times than she can say
all she has left is herself
hanging on for a better day

she's already held on for so long
waiting for him to realize
that she misses being held in his arms
looking into is ocean blue eyes

but he never looked back
never gave a second glance
doesn't even say hi in the halls
every time he walks past

she thinks thats how it should be
she can never be happy
and nothing good ever lasts
unhappiness is all that she can see
