Difficult Life

by Laura   Mar 1, 2005

A cardboard box
raggedy clothes
A difficult life
only he chose

Freezing cold
Wet because of the rain
Scared and Alone
In so much pain

Wrinkles on his face
Symbolize the years of his life
Scars on his wrist
Remind him of that knife

Dropped out of school
Said it served no purpose
he wish he'd stayed
now he feels so worthless

In a cardboard box
In the pouring rain
Has a difficult life
Knows nothing but pain

This is a really good poem. I love your rhyming scheme and I think it flows really well. I also like the way that you started and finshed the same. Good job. Keep up the writing. Love Emma xxx
