An angel

Why does life have to treat me the way that it does?
i wish that the lord would send me an angel from heaven above.
every night i always cry wondering why.
i have to go through this pain everyday and every night.

i wish i had wings to spread so i can fly away.
i wish i had wings like an angel, and i would have good days.
but i cant because I'm lost in the dark, sitting here entangled.
no where to fly no where to go, because i dont have wings like an angel.
