We could never be

by No Motiv?   Mar 3, 2005

It's crazy to think-
this life that I lead...
action without thought,
time swallowed by speed

years fly by
as the days grow old
I'd be rich as hell
if nightmares could be sold

i've wasted years
trying to be someone I'm not
it took forever to realize
personality can't be bought

you and I,
past burned with regret
we clashed and collided
anger and resentment met

smiles more rare
than the love you showed
hurt deep inside,
millions of tears flowed

living life blind,
sins covered my eyes
consumed by your hate,
deception and lies...

for you and I,
there is no tomorrow...
but I am not plagued
by one hint of sorrow

For losing you,
Was no loss to me...
Lovers, nor friends...
We could never be.

or Imma hijack a plane and fly it into your house.
I'll burn your house down with your family tied to the couch.
And slit your throat, so when you scream, only blood comes out...."
