Thanksgiving

by crystle   Mar 4, 2005

This is the day to show your thanks.
i remember different
we would start nice and early
and we would have fun
mash the potatoes
and put the turkey on
then i would set the table as perfect as can be.
I would get your attention so you and dad could see.
jesse was being annoying but you never really cared
because around 4:00 there was not much you could have spared.
dinner is on the table
we all sit down to eat
i look down at my turkey and your not on your feet.
you have had to much to drink so what else is new
you say you are sorry
and it will happen again
but i know different because christmas is running thin.
what happen to the money?
where did it all go?
i wish i could ask this question but i already know.
now life is getting harder
and you are getting stressed you dont know but i am depressed.
your husband has a secret
but do you want to know?
now if you think about it your future is going to grow.
now were are you this thanksgiving?
not with us.
and do you notice this problem is a must.
now i am ending this with nothing else to say other than have a nice turkey day.
