Do You Love Me?

In a jail cell you sit
alone and quiet
In there not for paying child care
In your heart i know there is a riot

A riot to get out of that place
I hope you realize your in jail because of you daughter.
or maybe you didn't realize you had a daughter
well you do a daughter that loves you

A daughter that could do better without you.
I would like you to still be in my life.
But I have a dad his name is Jimmy.
He may not be perfect but he loves me alot.

He may have a problem
but yours is bigger
you conceived a child then left because she was better off.
well guess what i am
I'm better with my dad I'm better with Jimmy

I do love you but you need to prove that you love me.
Prove to me that you love me and i might want you in my life.
my life is safe and secure
i have many father figures in my life that have watched me get older by the second and you missed every second.
well I'm over you I'm finished i don't need you i have my dads my Uncles and my DAD.

You get out of jail today
I wonder what you say
will you tell people I'm your daughter?
will you say you want me or will you deny me?

I guess we will never know?
the last time we knew anything was when you last wrote a letter
which was almost a year ago.

But i don't care i think I'm happy
yea I'm happy with out you.

P.S. this i one of the first poems i have written in a while so don't go to hard on me.
P.P.S.the jail thing isn't real he was in jail but he wasn't in it when i wrote this at least i don't think.
