He's always been there for me
Even when I thought he wouldn't be
He never realized how much he aided
Or all the nights I stayed up and waited
When I waited for him to come and talk
Because without him the path I could not walk
He never knew how much he means to me
Or how my life would be
How it would be without him to talk to
How he gave my life a new view
He has been my friend for a couple years now
And I'm thankful that he would allow
Allow me to talk to him
Allow our friendship to never be dim
He has helped me through
And I never knew if he knew
How thankful I am for him
And that I pray for him every night
He is the light in my darkness
