In Each Other's Arms

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Mar 7, 2005

We passed each by
Not even looking
Eye to eye

Just simply two
People in one town
Oh if only we knew

That five years on
We'd fall into each other's hearts
We could have had so long

As we came together
By accident one night
We shared one moment forever

As you whispered your love
The rain set in
A flood from above

We ran for shelter hand in hand
In an old barn was
The only place to stand

Thunder began to roar
I was frightened, you held me
Asked what I was frightened for?

It's only weather, only rain you said
The rain brought lightening to the barn
As I was struck I saw you see I was dead

From the next world I watched you fall
And hold my body close as the old brick barn
Crumbled down, and your last call

Started on earth and finished here
We're looking down at our bodies buried
In the rubble, and we pull each other near.

* Not a true story, urm, obviously lol, and I don't think it's a very good one, but hey, thought I'd post it anyway, thought it had a nice sentiment to it. x
