Love, Life and Death

I tried not to love you, I tried not to care.
But I still wake up in tears knowing your not there.

You have hurt me so much to that I can no longer feel.
My heart is permanently broken and it is never going to heal.

I'm lost in the darkness and i don't know what to do.
Left hollow and alone with only thoughts of you.

The girl you left is now lost and broken.
Into death and beyond i will take only your heart as my token.

As I end this poem, I end my pain.
Lying here dying hearing nothing but the rain.
