An Angel fell from the heavens...

by Roberto Serrano   Mar 9, 2005

An Angel fell from the heavens ripped from her nature’s womb,
Tears descended her eyes as she ripped through clouds in disbelief,
As the Angel roughly hit the cold dirt Angel Dust exhaled from her last breath,
The feathers from her wings had been torn away and her torso badly bruised,
Her halo had been broken as her body shattered against the soil,
An endless journey that found her body spread upon a hilltop,
I ran to her aid in hopes of healing and breathing air back into her lungs,
I could hear my heart nervous as it sounded like an Indian drum,
I knew I was too late I couldn’t hear her breathe,
An Angel just arrived from the heavens and again she must leave,
Her eyes were crystal brown unlike anything I had ever seen before,
Her skin was so beautiful a rare bare essential from an Angelic mold,
Her voluptuous hair held in waves like a strong ocean,
I gently cleaned her wounds in hopes of scaring her bleeding,
I healed her halo back in place as perfect as I could see,
But, what seemed to startle me is that her eyes would constantly follow me,
Her bleeding turned into scars and her scars slowly faded away,
Her wings began to grow feathers and they suddenly began to stray,
Her halo lit her face and angel dust illuminated her with a beautiful glow,
Her eyelids began to open and close and her face smiled upon me,
She turned to me with a smile that melted me right where I stood,
I told her I had been healing her in hopes she would revive and breathe again,
I told her I was admiring her beauty and I fell captive to her glow,
I was astonished… I couldn’t believe my eyes,
Then I asked her how she fell from the heavens and could it really be,
She replied that she was at the edge of a cloud admiring the beauty in me,
I replied while blushing I thought you were dead you hadn’t been breathing all day,
She sighed and gently placed a kiss upon my cheek and said… no love you just happen to take my breath away!
