Mocking Bird

by Shelby G.   Mar 9, 2005

Things have gone from bad to worse
Stuck within this horrid curse
I litteraly cannot eat a thing
My mocking bird just cannot sing
I could die from what I've done
When at first I thought it'd be fun
But now I see it's dumb and it's wrong
I've been in this state for much too long
If my mocking bird will not sing
And is of no colore with only one wing
Then let it be what it is, I won't make it change
My mocking bird is different, special, and strange
And no matter what you say to make fun of me
Then do what you will to set that bird free
Mocking bird is sad, and has no one to care for
Instead if flying, she's stuck on a beach shore
So this colorless bird, with only one wing
Is different and special, and just cannot sing
