An Unknown Place

by Kayla   Mar 10, 2005

Drip drip drip,
Tears are running down my face,
As I drift off into an unknown place.

Drip drip drip,
Crimson specks on the floor,
I watch you walk out that door,
Tears flood my eyes,
I haven’t yet seen your lies.

Drip drip drip,
A crimson puddle on the floor,
You say you don’t love me anymore.
My eye catches a blade,
I haven’t yet known how you’ve betrayed.
You say I’m to blame,
But she’s the one that was screaming your name.

Drip drip drip,
A crimson pool covers the floor,
Why didn’t I see this before?
Why couldn’t I see what was real?
I was lost in something surreal.
I gave you my heart,
You took it and you tore it apart.
Not just once, you did this twice,
Your heart is as cold as ice.

Drip drip drip,
My tears run down my face,
As I drift off into an unknown place.
Thinking of you and how much I cared,
Never have I been more scared.
Ive never been so alone,
Never been in a place so unknown.
My eyes are a fiery red,
I know exactly what lies ahead,
My heart will never mend,
So I am willing to accept this fate as my end.

Drip drip drip,
Tears dry on my face,
Ive drifted into an unknown place.
