Sweet Sensation

I go to bed,
Try to rest my head.
I cannot sleep,
Until I cut in deep.

The blood outlines my mark,
As my light disappears into the dark.
I see the cut I made,
Making my problems fade.

Sweet sensation,
No explanation.
Watch the blood flow.
All my emotions go.

I remember the words repeated,
I remember the lies deceited.
I remember the horrible mistake,
I remember how they all acted fake.

How does the world go round,
With all this hate going down?
How can we all survive?
If we don't strive?

I used to be scared of dying,
But I'm sick of trying.
Just want to be gone,
Before the break of dawn.

So I might just go,
Watching the blood flow,
Not saying good-bye,
Not wanting to try.
