Rain, Grey, Blood

by Shelby G.   Mar 11, 2005

The sun did not shine for days on end
The link to reality slowly bends
The trees were not green, the ground was only dirt
Rain fell, and there I lay, bleeding and hurt
Puddles of muddy water, crows leering down at me
I'm distorted and in pain, and I cannot see
Everything around me is dead and grey
Still bleeding to death, and there I lay
The puddles around me are all dyed dark red
It cannot end this was, I cannot be dead
Blood gushing from my hands, my legs
My chest, and my head
The rain is beating on my face
The only thing pretty in this dead place
The crows fly away, screeching and screaming
I want to wake up, and know that I'm dreaming
I'm growing cold, and I see a light
Trying to stand, I try and I fight
Finaly I give up, and I begin crying
And accept the fact that I'm acctually dieing
