You could've helped

by Killer Stalker   Mar 12, 2005

Dried stains on her face
make you wonder
dried stains that watched her waste
her only life away

no one knew
what was wrong
no one could tell
but she didn't stay very long

if only you'd see
the way she crires at night
if only you knew
you could have helped her fight

you never noticed
because you could never tell
but it just happened
it's just the way she fell

couldn't you see the signs?
she tried to tell you
heck, even show you
but you walked away too

how could you not help
how could you not try
it wasn't that hard to see
that she was gonna die

wasn't it awkward
when she wore coats in june?
and never was it off
even when the sun was high at noon

did you ever realize
how skinny she got
never eating all day
and she even fought

her tears of strife
these tears of pain
the tears of anerexia
those tears that helped cut her vein

lying there slowly dying
lying there gently crying
knowing this she can not mend
and her life is now at an end
