Roses are White

Roses are white
not always red.
Violets are blue
like the last line instead?

Roses are white
red roses not forgotten.
Sorry for petals
that are now rotten.

Roses are red
violets are blue.
Sugar is sweet
unlike you.

Roses are both
white and red.
The sugar bowl is empty
so is your head.
