No one can see

I go through the day
with a smile
there are so many things i don't say
I have feeling
locked up tight in a jar
at night when I'm alone
i wish upon a star

I have a face
i can not show
unless i have my own space
when I'm alone
i find the tears
run down my face
and my make up smears

why must i be
so alone
and no one can see
if only i had a hand
to lead me out
