Sleepless II

Another sleepless night
I wish you where
here holding me tight

laying here beneath the moon
praying that you
will come home soon

during the day i miss you
but at night it seems
i can't make it through

loneliness creeps inside
to find me no
matter where i hide

it finds its way to me
I want it to leave
why won't it let me be

this slowly brings me down
i realize that
my smile can't be found

so i will close my eyes
hopefully in time
these tears will dry
