At war

by Sinister Soire   Mar 14, 2005

Were at war with terrorism
Were at war with racism
But most of all
Were at war with ourselves

Since when do we know who
The enemy to us is
We fight anyone we see
Has something we want

We attack anything
When we see that it is there
Like attacking our freedom
To get rid of an enemy

Terrorism is and example
To how people make excuses
To kill innocent people
In an attack on ourselves

Racism is an internal battle
We fight against each other
To kill everything we do not get
Like some with different skin

We need to not be killing
The youth that is our future
We need to embrace one another
Instead of dooming ourselves
