New Day and New Me

There is this Spanish boy that really gets on my nerves
He treated me with no respect which I so don't deserve

He always messed around with girls but I stayed by his side
But I was being stupid cause he was showing me the real him which he hides

So I won't hold any grudges because now I see

What we had was fake and phony he was not real

When we broke up he said we will forever be friends
But just like him those words were for pretend

I was always there for him no matter the situation
But when it came down to me he didn't have any patience

Over time we slowly started to drift far apart
But I always kept him in my mind and in my heart

The thing I hated most about him is that he is two faced
Now I know that with the next boy to set my own pace

Every time I saw him my heart always skipped a beat
And every time he touched me my legs and arms grew weak

We don't even talk to each other anymore let alone touch
Its OK though because over time he will miss me so much
