Friendly Blade

by niko   Mar 16, 2005

A little girl so young
To be this depressed
One day decided
She didn't want her pain to be so suppressed

Her friends talked
About cutting
Like just something to do
Like it was nothing

But her friends were so
Much better than her
They didn't know how bad she was
How horribly this pain hurt

So that one day
She started their method
Match her slits with theirs
Her thoughts with what they said

They had said it was hard
To see their own blood
But she didn't find it that hard
And kept going till she had a flood

By then it was too late
To go back in time
Stop herself from doing this
From the last few rhymes

She started to panic
And the blood started to flow
She glared at what she thought was her friendly blade
That was the last emotion she'd ever show

She's dead and gone now
Or at least at heart
Because it never REALLY happened
But soon it might start
