Mosquito

by charlotte   Mar 16, 2005

My own culpability and naive reassurance astonishes me
Until the boy shows up.
Drain me of all things sane and stable
Take what you want and leave me to brood
In a bloody heap
Grant me fictitious hope
Please shatter this girl's glassy ego
You know Ill eat it all up
(And begin my slow temporary convalescence)

This is all so vulgarly common.
