Lonely heart, Lonely mind

by David   Mar 16, 2005

The sight of you is unbearable,
From your love I run,
You’ve unstitched my heart,
My hearts come undone.

I know I can stop the pain,
If I will it all away,
It’s driving me insane,
It intensifies day by day.

From your mind,
Flows poisonous information,
I look into the dark,
But can’t find salvation.

You’re driving in the knife,
Of a love once great,
Now I can see what I really am,
An empty sceptre of endless hate.

The knife you pierce me with,
You drive ever deeper,
I’m not afraid,
Why be afraid of the reaper?

As it glides through,
A feeling like ecstasy I get,
When the blood flows out,
My crimson regret.

I was tormented,
By your sweet raptured lie,
I won’t let you win,
I won’t lay down and die.

My spirit will linger,
Your mind will be haunted,
By the pain you caused me,
Now it’s your turn to be taunted.

I tried to forget you,
Get you out of my mind,
But yet you remain,
With your love so unkind.

You’ll feel realms of pain,
When your heart I slay,
I don’t want you to die
But there’s no other way.

I’ll bind your mouth together,
So words of pain you can’t speak,
You’ll slowly fade out,
The memory of you will turn weak.

All calm has returned,
When your voice I can’t hear,
When there is silence,
I can’t drown in tears.

You’ll be wanting to leave,
You won’t want to be here,
When you see what’s in store,
You’ll want to disappear.

I unstitch your mouth,
I love your sweet screaming,
When you feel the pain I’ve been through,
Your bitter tears will be streaming.

All my thoughts of you,
Are poisoning my mind,
I want to cut them out,
Leave them behind.

I can use your love like a razor,
To cut through the skin,
Cut out my memories of you,
Cut out the sin.

Once these have gone,
The pain will be ended,
The love will be banished,
My heart will be mended.

The stitching of love,
Will be sown back together,
This is only temporary,
It can’t last forever.
