Bad Hair Day

by Laura   Mar 17, 2005

I glanced at the clock
Ten minutes to go
Quickly I grabbed my brush
And time seemed to slow

How was I to do my hair today?
This I did not know
I stared into the mirror wondering
And then thought, “Whoa!”

My hair was a mess
I thought it better to start
Just with brushing
And then to form a part

I swept my hair
Into braided pigtails
But quickly undid them
When it looked like scales

I tried a ponytail next
But that didn’t work
So I put in some gel
To add some perk

That made my hair
Look like it was wet
So I evened it out
And then I started to sweat

I had looked at the clock.
Two minutes to until
We had to go
That gave me a thrill

So I decided on the unlikely
I wore my hair down
And people complimented me
All though the town
