Tell Me

by Momentary Relapse   Mar 17, 2005

Tell me all your secrets
Lay bare your soul to me
Tell me everything about you
Things no one will ever see

Then as you give me your all
I will find a place for you here
I will display your ugliness
Leave you naked for your one fear

As you bow down and weep
Speaking out all you hide
I will listen and smile
Before telling what I decide

I welcome you to my home
And can make you kill
Resist me you could never
For I have such a strong will

Tell me all you hopes
Come give me your entire being
Tell me all that you keep
Inside your broken wing

You will weep in joy to speak
Giving me your entire self
I will give you a place here
Lined upon a darkened shelf

One by one I take you down
One by one I watch you die
And one by one I hear you speak
Words that make you cry

Tell me all your dark secrets
Pour out your soul to me
Tell me everything you try to hide
Pour out your soul for me
